James Orr qui dirige le site de la Maison Blanche parle dans une interview au Washington Post du 17 aout des blogs et d’une possible intégration au sein du site.

« Orr talks about the growing influence of bloggers: “They’re important here. I can tell you that a lot of people read them.”

Good blogs are active blogs. So Orr hopes to get the White House blog working in real-time with more frequent updates communicating with the public about what the president is doing throughout the day.

“We need to be more live,” he says. And it’s doable – “’Cause we’re here. We just need to communicate that better with the public.”
